Why go processed soup when you can make a delicious soup that provides lots of energy with pasta, dried herbs, dried veggies, and beef jerky!
Ingredients (Serves 4):
- 1 1/2 cups of dried pasta
- 2 Tbs each dried rosemary, chives, oregano, basil
- salt and pepper mix
- 1/4 cup dried porcini
- 1 cup dried zucchini (or other favorite dried veggie)
- 2 ounces of jerky
Bring 4 cups of water to boil, add pasta and cook to about half-way done. Add dried herbs, salt and pepper mix, dried porcini and dried zucchini. Add water here if the mixture gets too thick. Cook to tender.
At the very end, hand tear your favorite jerky and add to the soup.
